Top Tech Auto Repair Clawson Car Care News and Information: Air Conditioning – Common Problem
February 18, 2016
Your auto air conditioning system cools and conditions the air in your passenger compartment. It also removes moisture from the air to keep your windows from fogging up.
A common A/C issue is contaminated refrigerant (the gas that cools the air). The inside of the A/C hoses declines over time and tiny bits of rubber obstructs passages. This makes the system less efficient and overworks various components.
Leaks can arise at seals and gaskets and may curtail the amount of refrigerant, causing the system to work too hard to compensate. Dirty components can have the same results.
Ask your Top Tech Auto Repair Clawson technician for an air conditioning system examination to make sure everything is up to spec.
